Undetected infection rates continue to rise in Sudan, especially within the capital city Khartoum, which is home to about a third of the country’s population. The death toll has been reported by Imperial College London to exceed 16,000 with over 38% of capital’s population infected at one point.
We could make a difference and protect vulnerable members of the population by supporting local efforts to introduce the vaccine. This is a chance for Elsulaimaniya to support efforts by the Ministry of Health to source a suitable vaccine and contribute to the solution. We appreciate your continuous support.
Twenty million doses are needed to vaccinated 10 million of the elderly, vulnerable and needy people. This is in addition to requirements for medications for those affected by the disease.
